Individuals 21 years and older with Alzheimer’s or a related disorder can now live at home and stay within their community as opposed to a nursing facility.
The participant and their main caregiver must reside in the same home. Caregivers may be a non-family member, a family member or a legal guardian, such as a spouse.
Services include
- Homemaker and attendant care services related to activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Attendance to doctor appointments
- Assistance with health-related homemaker services as an alternative to the loss or diminishment of physical or cognitive ability.
